Alumni

The Belvidere Alumni Association was created in an effort to provide a means for BHS alum to connect. The members of the association meet on a regular basis to organize the annual Alumni dinner, which is held at the beginning of October of each year. The proceeds from this dinner are used to award current Belvidere High School seniors with scholarships.

In addition, some of these members serve on the Hall of Fame Committee. The Hall of Fame consists of a group of Belvidere High School graduates who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields, (e.g.-armed forces, education, law, sports, medicine, community activities, humanitarian affairs, or other activities deemed by the committee to merit special recognition). The committee meets in April to review all applications and make their selections on who will be inducted into that particular year's Hall of Fame.
