If your child requires medications at school, please have your doctor complete the required authorization forms and action plans. These forms are also available at the bottom of this page.  


Wash hands often with soap and water

Avoid touching the eyes, nose, and mouth

Avoid contact with those who are already sick

Get plenty of sleep

Eat healthy food and drink plenty of fluids

Cover nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with a tissue or the crook of you arm

Stay home if ill for at least 24 hours after fever has gone

Students entering 6th grade must satisfy the State immunization mandate that requires them to receive a diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (Tdap) and meningococcal vaccine (MCV) as well as a current physical on file in the health office. Any student who does not complete these requirements may face exclusion.

Preschoolers must also receive an annual flu shot before December 1st per the Department of Health.  

If your child has a life-threatening food allergy, the safest meal is one packed from home; however, we understand this is not always feasible. You may contact our dietician at with any questions and concerns. You should also refer to our food services's website at and click the nutrition information tab to preview labels and products for the meals served in the cafeteria.
